   Home of record listed as Elgin, Ill's.
   Promoted to Lt. of H Co. 7th Ill.

   Mustered Out at Mound City, Ill. July 25, 1861.

Post war;
   Joined GAR Post #226 in Nunda, Ill.
   Died Oct. 1884.
