   Enlisted Aug. 16, 1862.
   Mustered in at Elgin, Ill's. Nov. 15, 1862
   On the resegnation of Capt. Renwick in May of 1863, Capt. Andrew Wood takes command ond the battery is renamed;
Wood's Battery
   Filed charges in Dec. of 1863 with teh Kane County Board of Supervisors against Capt. Renwick for absconding with his $60 signing bounty.
   Discharged Aug. 2, 1864 due to Disability.

     Post war;
   Listed on the 1870 Illinois Census #285/322 as aged 25 years, from New York, living in Oakwood Township.
