   As recorded on the Elgin Sexton's ledger:  Died Sept. 6, 1909, 9:00 pm at Madison, Wisc.  Aged 70 years.  Cause of death listed as Hemorage of Lungs.  Undertaker retained, Wait & Ross Co.  Pronouncing Physician, J. W. Hopkins of Madison, Wisc.  Death Cert. #12150.
   Buried at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, Ill.
