   Enlisted Sept. 6, 1861.
   Home of record listed as Elgin, Ill's.
   Aged 26 years.
   Mustered in at Camp Lyon in Geneva, Ill's. on Nov. 19, 1861.
   Issued .58 rifled musket.
   Re-enlisted as a Veteran and paid a $300 Veterans Bounty then sent home on 30 days Veterans Furlough.
   Mustered Out July 6, 1865 in Louisville, Ky.
