      Charles H. Stark, formerly of Elgin, died at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at his home in Richmond, Vermont.  A telegram reached here about 2 announcing the sad news to the deceased's daughters, Mrs. Clarence Kemp and Miss Nellie Stark.
      Mr. Stark was born in the east, but the greater portion of his life was spent here.  He had warked for the Gail Borden Condensed Mild company, for the Elgin company and for W. H. Hintze.  Over a year ago he removed his family to Vermont and accepted a position as superintendent of a condensing factory there.
      Deceased was 62 years of age.  A wife; two sons and four daughters survive him.  The sons are Ben and Charles, and the daughters are Julia, Nellie, Ruby, and Mrs. Kemp.
      The remains are to be brought to Elgin for burial.  The family will also return here.

      The remains of Chas. H. Stark, formerly of this city, who died at his home in Richmond, Vermont, on Thursday, will reach this city this evening.  The funeral will take place at 2 o'[clock Sunday from the residence of a son-in-law, Clarence Kemp, 3 North Liberty street, and the interment will be at Bluff City cemetery.  The G.A.R. will have charge of the burial ceremonies and the ritual of the order will be performed.

   Chas. H. Stark, father of Mrs. Clarence Kemp and Miss Nellie Stark, died at her home in Richmond, Vt., June 1, aged 62 years.  He lived here many years and the remains will be brought here for interment.
