      Adam Weidner, one of the est known farmers in this section died this morning after an illness of a complication of diseases lasting about three months.  He leaves a widow, but no children.
      Mr. Weidner was about 61 years of age.  He enlisted from Hampshire in Company C, 127th Illinois infantry, Aug. 7, 1862, and was mustered out June 5, 1865.  His record was a good one.  He was wounded in the battle of Arkansas Post, Ark.
      The funeral will be held at noon Saturday at his late home, near Pingree Grove, and the burial will be in Washington cemetery.
