   Listed home of record as Plato, Ill's.
   Mustered In Oct. 25, 1861 at Camp Lyon in Geneva, Ill's.
   Issued .58 Rifled musket.
   Messed with Charles C. Robinson.
   Wounded in Action at Shiloh.
   Died of his wounds June 1862.
   Buried at Elgin City Cemetery.
Known actions;
Ft. Donelson, Tenn. Feb. 11, 1862
Shiloh, Tenn.         April 6, 1862

   Re-interred at Center Cemetery in Plato, Ill. when the City Cemetery closed.

Roll of Honor has him buried at Bluff City Cemetery with a date of death as April 26, 1862.
Bluff City Cemetery has a file card listing date of death as May 26, 1862 at St. Louis, Mo., aged 21 years interred at Lot 48, Section 6 with a private purchase headstone.  Note that this is the same location given for Rueben W. Tuck.
