   Dr. R.W. Turner, oldest son of Dr. R. Turner, died at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence of his nephew, Alvin Pruden, at No. 52 prairie street.  Deceased was in the forty-ninth year of his age, and came to Elgin with his people over thirty years ago.  For seventeen years prior to a year ago Dr. Turner was a practicing physician at Huntley.  He has been ill more or less for the past year, but only seriously so for a few days preceding his death.  He had suffered much, but when the finial moment came passed quietly away as one who laid down to pleasant dreams.  Deceased was a kind and worthy man, and greatly esteemed by those intimate with him.  A large circle of relatives and friends mourn his demise.
   The funeral occurs to-morrow.  Prayer will be had at the residence on Prairie street at 1:30 o'clock, and services at the Universalist church at 2 o'clock.

   Dr. R. W. Turner, aged 48 years, 9 months and 28 days, oldest son of Dr. A. Turner, of Elgin, passed quietly away, after a lingering illness of heart disease, Sunday morning, at the residence of his nephew, Alvin Pruden, 52 Prairie street.  The doctor was a kind and worthy man and leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.  Prayer at the residence, 52 Prairie street, 1:30 o'clock and Universalist church at 2 o'clock this (Tuesday) afternoon.

   Dr. R. W. Turner died quite suddenly of heart disease at 8:30 o'clock yesterday morning, at the home of his nephew, Alvin Pruden, 52 Prairie street.  Though as stated, death came suddenly, and without special premonition, he had been sick for a long time several months ago his case being considered extremely critical.  At that time he was treated for abscess of the liver.  He became better, so that he was able to be around considerable, and was sown town as late as Saturday afternoon.  Sunday morning his sister left him for a moment to perform an errand for him, and returning to the room found he had expired on the sofa.  Deceased was the oldest son of Dr. A. Turner, of this city, and was a kind hearted and generous man.  He was aged 48 years, 9 months, and 28 days, and had lived in this part of the country for 37 years, for quite period practicing medicine at Huntley, he leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn.  The funeral will take place to-morrow, prayer at the residence on Prairie street at 1:30 o'clock, and at the Universalist church at 2.
