   Dr. Wm. G. Todd, the weather reporter, is going to revolutionize the steam engine buisness by a rotary cylinder attached to a balance or driving wheel.  Patent applied for.  See model working in Cheese Box Factory, old west side distillery.  His sixteen-year old son was the inventor, and the father the perfecter.

   Member of the Elgin Scientific & Historical Society in 1880.
