       Obit – Sept. 25, 1905 issue of the Elgin Daily Courier.
       Fred Moehling, a veteran of the Civil War, died at 2:30 o'clock this morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Becker, 214 north State street.   Death was due to paralysis.
       Mr. Moehling was born in Germany and was about 62 years of age.   He enlisted in a Missouri regiment and served all through the war.   For the past twenty-seven years he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Becker.   For twelve years he had been totally blind.   Two brothers, Henry and August, reside in Minnesota.
       The funeral will take place Tuesday at 2 o'clock from the house.
