   John McKinley, a veteran of the Civil war, died this morning at 1 o'clock at the family home, 408 River street, after a short illness.
   Deceased was born in Pennsylvania eighty five years ago and leaves a wife and one son who resides in Waukegan.
   The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the house and at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist church, and will be in charge of Veteran post, G.A.R. of this city.  interment at Bluff City cemetery.
